Hours of Operation

Cathedral of Saint Joseph: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Parish Offices: (Mon-Thurs) 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, (Fri) 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Sacred Heart Chapel: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Decreased Mobility entrances are located at the lower Duluth Ave. entrance, and the North Transept entrance.

Tours

Self-guided tours can be taken from 9-11:30 AM and 1-5 PM Monday through Friday unless a wedding or funeral is scheduled. Visitors may tour the Cathedral on Saturday and Sunday but these days present more liturgies to work around so visitors are encouraged to check our weekend schedule before arriving.

Guided tours can be requested during weekdays between 1 pm and 5 pm. To schedule a tour, please contact the parish office.

Direction to the Cathedral

From the North or South:

1. By way of Interstate I-29, take Exit 80 – Madison St.
2. Turn East and follow Madison St. for approximately 1.1 Miles.
3. Turn Right onto Burnside St. for approximately 0.7 Miles.
4. Turn Slightly Left onto 6th St. for approximately 0.6 Miles.
5.  Turn Left onto Duluth Ave. for approximately 0.1 Miles.

From the East:

1. By way of Interstate I-90, take Exit 399 – Cliff Ave..
2. Turn Left onto Cliff Ave. for approximately 1.2 Miles.
3. Turn Right onto Benson Ave. for approximately 0.9 Miles.
4. Turn Left onto Minnesota Ave. for approximately 2.4 Miles.
5. Turn Right onto 5th St. for approximately 0.1 Miles.
6. Turn Right onto Duluth Ave. for approximately 100 Feet.

From the West:

1. By way of Interstate I-90, take Exit 396A – Interstate 29 South for approximately 3.5 Miles.
2. Take Exit 80, turn East and follow Madison St. for approximately 1.1 Miles.
3. Turn Right onto Burnside St. for approximately 0.7 Miles.
4. Turn Slightly Left to 6th St. for approximately 0.6 Miles.
5. Turn Left onto Duluth Ave. for approximately 0.1 Miles.
