The Cathedral of Saint Joseph proudly supports the Sioux Falls Catholic School system, which is dedicated to building a community of faith and learning by promoting a Catholic way of life through gospel values and academic excellence.
Pre-K through 12th – For 23 years, SFCS has offered education from grades pre-school through high school. More strikingly, Catholic education has been available in the Sioux Falls area for over 100 years!
Growth – The school system consists of six elementary schools, and a junior-high and high school.
Notoriety – As a whole, SFCS students have performed well above the local, state and national average on standardized tests and O’Gorman high school has been named an NCLB “Blue Ribbon School” three times, most recently in 2014.
Tuition and Financial Aid – Each parish in Sioux Falls contributes generously to SFCS in order to ensure the affordability and success of Catholic education. SFCS has many financial aid options for those concerned about about their ability to afford tuition.
