The Cathedral of Saint Joseph proudly supports the Sioux Falls Catholic School system, which is dedicated to building a community of faith and learning by promoting a Catholic way of life through gospel values and academic excellence.
Pre-K through 12th – Bishop O'Gorman Catholic Schools offers education from Preschool for ages 3, 4 & 5 through high school. More strikingly, Catholic education has been available in the Sioux Falls area for over 100 years!
Growth – The school system consists of six elementary schools, and a junior-high and high school located all around Sioux Falls. Included are Holy Spirit Elementary, Christ the King Elementary, St. Katharine Drexel Elementary, St. Lambert Elementary, St. Mary Elementary, St. Michael Elementary, O'Gorman Junior High and O'Gorman High School.
Notoriety – As a whole, Bishop O'Gorman Catholic School students have performed well above the local, state and national average on standardized tests, and 5 of the 8 schools have been named an NCLB "Blue Ribbon School!"
